Community Non-Profit Organization Focused on Your Healing
The Center for Wholeness Mission Statement
The Center for Wholeness is a Community 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization committed to providing Licensed, Spiritual, Ad Hoc Legal Services and other community and professional services.
The journey toward hope and healing. Together.
The Center for Wholeness is a neighborhood 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that opened its doors in June 2011. The Center for Wholeness adopted its name by understanding that true healing comes from discovering the fullness of one’s authentic self. The authentic self comes from recognizing and integrating any brokenness into our present state of being and utilizing it to make a stronger, more fulfilled self.
In other words, becoming whole, and for those who incorporate their spiritual journey into this equation, is becoming holy.
To that end, the counseling department at The Center for Wholeness seeks to provide accompaniment on this journey to wholeness by utilizing the tools from secular and/or pastoral counseling. Of particular note is our service to the LGBTQ and active and retired military.
The Center for Wholeness began as a ministry of the Communion of Conciliar Catholic Churches ® until it received its own 501(c)(3) status, expanding its services from pastoral counseling to providing a full cadre of professional services to meet the needs of the community.
We believe that all persons are made in God’s image, and we are LGBTQ positive. We recognize that there is a vast chasm from tolerance to acceptance, and we are privileged to have accompanied many on the journey of building bridges toward full acceptance of self or of their LGBTQ loved ones. We work with LGBTQ families with parenting and dealing with bullying and provide LGBTQ marriage counseling to couples wanting to strengthen their marital bonds with love and care.
We are equally as proud and privileged to support the military community, both active and retired, as we accompany them through the many special issues that affect the military community, such as PTSD, families dealing with long deployments, meditation tools to deal with chronic physical pain from injuries, and the like.
The Center for Wholeness works collegially with other not-for-profit agencies to ensure that quality services are accessible regardless of race, creed, or sexual orientation. The Center provides services on a sliding scale. For more information or to make an appointment, call (760) 579-8037 or send us a note on our contact form.
